2026 has been a great year for Cuimheachain Bhreacais so far! We thought it was about time for an update on all the things we've been up to in the last few months.

January saw our fourth Strùpag 's Sgeulachdan event on the theme of Muir is Tìr (Land and Sea). People browsed the pop-up exhibition, enjoyed tea, coffee and homebaking and had a chat.

The Talla Bhreacais @100 project launched officially in June of this year, with the first of our Strùpag ‘s Sgeulachdan events at Talla Bhreacais. We had a pop up exhibition, curated by Ronan Martin, with various themes such as crofting, place names, archeology, music and written word.
